Echiré butter is a Charentes-Poitou PDO butter, the latter received the French Excellence prize in November 2015. What is a Charentes-Poitou PDO butter?
Charentes-Poitou PDO butter is made exclusively from milk cream from the departments of Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres, Vienne and Vendée. Thanks to a slow phase of biological maturation of the cream, specific to Charentes-Poitou PDO butter, its personality asserts itself. Our Echiré AOP butter made of wood churn has natural qualities that make it the king of puff pastries, croissants, pastries… all over the world.
