Graves Blanc, Château Peyrat 2019

Introduction

Graves holds the distinction of being the only part of Bordeaux where red and white wines are made by most châteaux. Close to the village of Sauternes, Château Peyrat is dominated by Sémillon.

This classic white Graves is a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon blanc. From  Sémillon comes richness, body, depth, and capable of aging with honey overtones. From Sauvignon blanc comes sprightly acidity and a fresh snap of black fruity flavor.

summary

A superior table wine that is easy to drink with a cheese platter and any kind of seafood starter. Wind the day down with the pairing of this golden robed liquid and Saint Jacques Capellini or simply, a delicious wedge of blue cheese. It is going to taste quite different when combined with the ripe acidity of this Graves Blanc.
